It's pretty strict because we need to be thorough and keep things fair for everyone. If our system detects interference with our monetisation technology, it will show a popup similar to this: Sometimes in very rare circumstances, this may popup may continue to show, even after you have disabled your ad blocker. So, if you've genuinely disabled everything and you're still seeing our popup, this blog post will help you find the root cause and fix it. "My Adblocker Is "Disabled" But I Still See The Popup" If your internet connection is very slow, you might see this Adblocker pop up, in which case we recommend switching to mobile data / WiFi and trying again. Our website works best when you're using a 4G, 5G or WiFi network with a download speed greater than 8mbps. You may encounter issues if you're using a 3G network or have poor WiFi connectivity. As of February 2026 we have made some changes to ensure our site works better for users with slower internet connections. We found that users on weak connections were seeing this pop-up, despite having no ad blocker installed. ✅ MOST COMMON SOLUTION: If you're on slow WiFi, switch to mobile data and see if this helps. Similarly, if you're having issues with our site whilst using a mobile connection, try accessing our site when connected to a strong WiFi network. "I used to have an Adblocker, but disabled it for your site." Even when you think you've disabled your adblocker, it might still be doing its thing in the background. Many extensions don't fully switch off all their filtering when you hit that "pause" button or add us to your allowlist. In extremely rare circumstances, our popup could be triggered by: Your router at home or work has built-in ad blocking Your DNS settings (like AdGuard DNS or Cloudflare for Families) may filter ads Your VPN service includes ad-blocking features you didn't even know about Your mobile carrier or workplace has content filtering turned on Your antivirus might be blocking ads as a "security measure" Your browser may have built in ad blocking capabilities A family member may have installed an ad blocker on your device Still Seeing This When You Shouldn't Be?
